Tenuta Torchio antico

The ancient village is dated back to 1700. Formerly the site was used to extract and cut tuff  stones to build the surrounding houses.

At the foot of the village the hills shape a sunny amphitheatre with lemon and orange trees everywhere and the sea is its beautiful stage.

Limestone of fossil seashell makes the soil an ideal place to produce our natural red and white wines and very tasty olive oil used to be eaten with vegetables on fresh warm bread.

Our farm is 40 km. far from Messina and 8km. from Milazzo, the nearest port to the Aeolian Isles and if you come by plane you can rent a car, booking it in advance, to one of these phone numbers:

To relax and enjoy your holiday, you can go ciclying , trekking , swimming, playing ping-pong and if you’re interested in flying there is a school for small aircraft and engine delta plane too. We suggest to visit Milazzo , a town placed at the foot of a medieval castle, surrounded by the sea, its natural port ( just 45 min. far from Volcano, the nearest of the Aeolian Isles, by vessel), its typical restaurants, discothèques, clubs where you can enjoy music, dance, good food and wine, culture and sightseeing.

Not far from Milazzo is Tindari.   It is a very interesting archeological place, with its beautiful sea and summer events.

Keeping on going to the same direction, not far from Barcellona, is the Jalari Park, a very interesting ethnografic museum.
